The philosophy behind the effectiveness of this program was established by Dr. Blanc when he came to an exceptionally profound insight as to why some students did not reach the top scores that reflected their knowledge base. After detailed evaluation and an intensive study he realized that students’ failure was not based entirely on their knowledge bank. Lack of information was not the paramount reason for failure, but rather students did not know how to use comprehensive variables and apply the knowledge they did have to arrive at an accurate answer when working board style questions.
The outcome of this finding had such positive results, that we began to implement this strategy not only with repeat test takers but also with students who want to reach above average scores.
To this day our program still holds that profound insight – students do not necessarily need more information; what they do need is a plan which allows them to understand and tap into their knowledge bank more effectively. Since Dr. Blanc’s initiative, we have continued our research into what makes a student successful when taking a multiple choice based test.
What Professionals Who Research Test-Taking Skills Know:
- Students who have a technique when answering multiple-choice questions perform better on tests.
- Achieving top scores involves effective means of time management.
- Test anxiety has a debilitating effect on performance.
Success Stories
“I had a wonderful experience with this program. I tried another popular board review course's video study, I tried self study, I even went so far as to get a personal tutor. The difference is HOW you answer the question and the way the information gets reorganized in your head. I would suggest this to everyone. The staff is much more personable and honestly will spare no effort to see you succeed.
I wish everyone preparing for this exam the best of luck. I thank God every day that I was lucky enough to find this program, because it is a huge factor in what is helping me become a doctor.”
